2012 Student Art Projects

View the 2012 Student Art Projects at the following locations:

• Children’s Exhibition, including “I Made It” plate sets, at The William & Joseph Gallery, February 6-18.
• Projects by Santa Fe High School students on display at the Red Dot Gallery, February 23 – March 20, 2012.

CHILDREN’S RECEPTION
The “I Made It” plate artists will be honored at a reception on February 18 from 1:30-2:30 at The William & Joseph Gallery. The event begins at 1:30, and the special presentation will begin promptly at 2.

WINNERS OF THE PLATE COMPETITION. The following students were selected by the ARTsmart Board and ARTfeast Committee as the recipients of awards:

Grand Award: Kara McGee-Russell, Eldorado Elementary
First Runner-up: Isaac R. Guadarrama E., Kearny Elementary
Second Runner-up: Ava Moser, Acequia Madre Elementary

Grand Prize	First Prize	Second Prize

Ten Honorable Mentions were also awarded.  All of the plates will be illustrated in the ARTfeast Guide, published by the Journal Santa Fe, February 2012, and on the ARTfeast poster, available January 2012 and underwritten by Southwest Art.

VIP THANK YOU PARTY (invitation only)
To coordinate with the exhibition of the student’s projects at The William & Joseph Gallery, the VIP Reception, sponsored by New Mexico Bank & Trust and The William & Joseph Gallery, will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2012, 5:30 – 7:30 pm – also at The William & Joseph Gallery.  Thank you to Geronimo and Grapeful Wine Consulting for catering.
