Meet, Mingle, Manifest

A group of passionate artists and art collectors gathers at the Scottish Rite Temple where they are treated to a scrumptious brunch created by Peas ‘n’ Pod chefs Catherine O’Brien and Glenda Griswold, accompanied by spirited libations, from champagne to Bloody Marys. Myriad auction items provide a kaleidoscope of options for creating an artful life! Live bidding takes place for artworks by the featured artists, including Nigel Conway from GF Contemporary, Phyllis Kapp from Waxlander Gallery, Barry McCuan from Ventana Fine Art, Barbara Meikle from Pippin Meikle Fine Art, and Christopher Thomson from The Peterson-Cody Gallery. A set of 12 original plates on the theme of Brilliant Butterflies is also on the auction block. And come prepared to take advantage of great deals on a bountiful group of silent auction items, including sculptures, paintings, jewelry, memorable travel, restaurant, spa and resort packages, and more.

Student projects available through the silent auction include “Snow Globes” by New Mexico School for the Arts, digital art by Capital High School students mentored by artist Natasha Isenhour, and metal sculptures by Al Trujillo’s Santa Fe High School students, mentored by Christopher Thomson.

Fantastical Alebrije Animals – RAFFLE!

Created by students guided by Lynn Grimes of Turquoise Trail Elementary School and raffled throughout ARTfeast. Raffle tickets are $20 apiece, or three for $50; the winner is announced at the Artists’ Champagne Brunch. For tickets, call the ARTsmart office at 505.603.4643, or tickets will be available for purchase at the Fashion Show, Gourmet Dinner, and Artists’ Brunch.
